Starting Point

New to St. Luke’s?

Starting Point is a casual conversation for those new to St. Luke’s. Gain an orientation to St. Luke’s and leave with recommended next steps to help you find your place within the church. It’s also a great way to meet others who are new and find community! No registration is needed. Just show up! We can't wait to meet you! This is 30-minute class held in the Community Room, across from the church office, at 10:45-11:15AM OR 12:15-12:45PM on the following days:

December 12

Exploring Membership

The Exploring Membership Class will help you learn more about who we are, the processes for joining St. Luke's, our beliefs, and our mission to be an affirming community of Christians helping people find and give hope through Jesus Christ - regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or socioeconomic background. You'll also get to hear the story of our church and discuss what it means to be a member of this local congregation through serving, growing in your faith journey, moving toward generosity, and more. Lunch will be provided for the Sunday classes. Please note childcare needs on the registration. Click on the date below to register for that date's class.

Small Groups

We believe small groups are an amazing way to deepen your faith while making new friendships and connecting with others. Each group is designed so that you can study, serve and care for one another. If you’re looking to meet people and develop relationships, this is the way to go. Watch for special opportunities during Lent and Advent when new groups will be forming to dive deeper into these significant Christian seasons. Many groups are open to new members throughout the year, though, so don’t worry about waiting for a “special time!”

If you’re a “people person” you might feel ready to be part of our Guest Experience and Hospitality Team that welcomes folks to St. Luke’s. It’s not always easy stepping into a new church; this team exists to make that experience relaxed and comfortable for guests. Serve Others
