What We're Doing

PLEASE SEE EASTER PAGE FOR EASTER SEATING / CAPACITY

Limiting Capacity

Each service will be limited to 50% of full seating capacity, and we will require attendees to make a reservation for in-person services for at least the first few weeks.

Distanced Seating

We will block off the first two rows in each worship space, along with every other row. We have taped off each row at three-foot increments and ask that you leave 1 pieces of tape between you and the next family unit.

Controlled Entrances/Exits

Common areas have floor stickers to remind you to keep safe social distancing. Before services, ushers will guide you to your seat. After each service, we'll remind people to stay 6 ft apart as they exit to avoid crowding at the doors. To help with dismissal we will have family seating areas in the back of each worship space (left back section of Chapel & Sanctuary)

Wearing Masks

Masks will be required of all attendees and volunteers over the age of 2, even if vaccinated. Acceptable masks include cloth or disposable face coverings that completely cover the nose and mouth. A face shield alone is not sufficient and will require a mask be worn as well.

Sanitization

Our worship spaces are completely sanitized each week. Common touch areas, such as doorknobs and handles, will be wiped down between services. Hand sanitizer stations will be strategically placed inside and outside the church.

Limited Amenities

Refreshments (coffee and donuts) will not be offered inside the building. But, we will be offering food and beverages outside of the building for after services! Food/beverages cannot be brought into the building as consuming them requires mask removal. Water fountains are closed. Restrooms will be available and will be sanitized between services and doors propped open where possible.

Contact-Free Greetings

Greeters will wave a warm welcome, but will not shake hands while serving. Exterior doors will be propped open. We will have one Welcome Center open for each service should people have questions or need assistance.

Touchless Service

We will not distribute bulletins or handouts, and all paper and hymnals have been removed from the worship spaces. Offering will be taken through electronic giving (text or via the website) or may be placed in wooden boxes near the main exit of the worship spaces.

Special Worship Elements

Communion elements will be prepared and distributed by gloved and masked ushers. These individual elements will be spaced out on trays and distributed in a safe and effective manner. Communion will start May 2, 2021. Baptisms will continue to be done individually at a family's request. We have discontinued the practice of offering communion weekly in the Prayer Chapel.
