Introduction to Contemplative Practices

Monday, September 14 6:30 PM (Recurring Event)
North Indy

In the busyness of everyday life, it can be hard to slow down and simply be present with God. This six-week class creates a gentle space to do just that — to listen, breathe, and notice where God is at work in your life. Together we'll explore contemplative practices including Taizé worship, labyrinth walking, Lectio Divina, and quiet meditation. Whether you are in a season of transition, uncertainty, or simply longing to go deeper, you are welcome here. No experience or preparation required — just come as you are.

Who This Is For:

For those in a season of discernment, transition, or uncertainty

For those feeling weary, overwhelmed, or in need of grounding

For those grieving, seeking clarity, or longing to reconnect with God

For parents, young adults, and seekers who desire space for reflection and stillness

What to Expect:

Thoughtful guidance into contemplative practices that nurture discernment and presence

A welcoming space for beginners and experienced practitioners alike

A compassionate community where questions are honored and silence is embraced

Come as you are—no preparation required, only a willingness to slow down and listen. This is a gentle invitation to be present with God, trust the unfolding journey, and rest in the holy wisdom that meets us along the way.
