Our youth ministry is going on our annual mission trip, this time to Charlotte, NC! We will be staying at Meyers Park UMC and serving in the local community of Charlotte. Students can expect to learn a lot about the local community including some of it's challenges, needs, and the work being done to address those needs. Students will learn how to connect their faith to action through practical and meaningful service alongside one another and the local community in Charlotte! Students in grades 6-12 in the 2023-2024 school year are invited to attend. Scholarships and fundraising opportunities available. This is a partnership trip with Zionsville UMC and a great opportunity to make connections across churches!

Who is this trip for?
This experience is open to all students in 6th-12th grade during the 2023-24 school year.
What paperwork is required?
At this moment, the only paperwork required to attend is this registration and a medical release form for the new school year! More forms may be sent or requested 1-3 months before the trip.
Where will my student be staying?
Our group will be staying at Meyers Park UMC
What is the schedule for the week?
While we don't currently have the full schedule available, we know communicating where your child will be is important. Updates will be shared with a loose itinerary into the finalized one that should be available at least a month in advance.
How much does the trip cost? What's the fine print?
The total cost of the trip is $500. This includes everything except for the cost of 2-3 meals while traveling to and from our destination. Registration requires a non-refundable $100 deposit. The last date to withdraw from the trip will be June 2, 2023. The deposit will be forfeited, but no further cost incurred. Any cancellations after June 2nd will require the full balance of the trip still be paid.
I'm an adult leader, what will the trip cost for me?
This year's domestic mission trip will be FREE for all adult leaders. Simply enter the payment code "LEADER" to reflect that on your form.
Are there any other associated costs?
Please budget about $50 for food on the way to and from Charlotte.
Are there scholarship and/or payment plans available?
It is important to us that every student who wants to go on this trip has the opportunity to do so! If you are interested in a payment plan, please email Travis to discuss the details.
