Milwaukee, WI | July 10th-15th | 6th-12th Grade | $450

This summer, students at St. Luke's will have the opportunity to join us for a mission trip to Milwaukee, WI. We are excited to serve through YouthWorks, a missions organization that has partnered with and developed relationships in this community for over 20 years. Students will get to serve in food pantries, soup kitchens, local gardens, and intergenerational care centers. The evenings will involve services, opportunities to share what we've been learning, and fun adventures!

We have chosen to do a single, combined domestic trip this year for a couple of reasons. First, COVID-19 still causes enough uncertainty that international travel in summer 2022 could be unpredictable. Furthermore, it's important to us that everyone who wants the opportunity to serve in a mission trip setting is able to do so. Domestic mission trips are simply more accessible and affordable. Finally, a larger combined group means we are working with YouthWorks to customize this upcoming missions experience specifically for our middle and high school students!

EVERYONE will need to have a 2020-2021 Medical Release Form on file prior to the Mission Trip. Please click here to complete the form.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Q: Who is this trip for?

A: This experience is open to all students currently in 6th-12th grade. We have a limited number of spots, including spots for adult volunteers.

Q: What forms are required?

A: A Medical Release Form needs to be completed (click here). A Permission Slip and Youthworks packet will be sent out a month before the trip to be filled out.

Q: How much does the trip cost, and what's the fine print?

A: The trip costs $450 and includes everything except for the cost of 2-3 meals while traveling to and from our destination. While this registration does not require an initial payment, every person who registers must submit a $200 deposit by January 1. Deposits are non-refundable and will hold your spot on the trip. No deposit means no guaranteed spot. The last date to withdraw from the trip is February 1st and you will forfeit your deposit of $200. If you cancel AFTER Feb. 1st, you are responsible for the full amount of the trip - $450. If the CHURCH should cancel this trip due to COVID-19, all monies are fully refundable. But ONLY if the CHURCH cancels.

For Adult Leaders the cost is $200 -- use payment code "LEADER" to reflect that in your amount due.

Q: Are there any other associated costs?

A: Please budget about $25 for food on the way to and from the trip destination Youthworks will be selling shirts around $15, but you will also get a free one for going on the trip.

Q: What kind of scholarships and/or payment plans are available?

A: We will partner with your family to assure that your child can make it on the trip! We have multiple fundraisers throughout the year to help offset costs. The money really adds up. You can make a payment at any time by logging back into here.
