Mayhem 2024 Volunteer Sign-up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Middle School Mayhem! Mayhem is June 17-21st. This form can be used to sign up to volunteer. If you sign up for a slot that includes a free week of Mayhem, email Travis (travis.bannon@stlukesumc.com) for the coupon code before filling out the attendee registration for a middle school student. You can also contact him if you need childcare so on-campus Childcare Providers can be arranged.

Please carefully read the following descriptions to determine which position best suits you:

• Crew Leader: This is an individual who is at least 18 years of age who can help every day Monday through Friday by leading a group of middle school students. Their role is to hang out with students and create a safe environment for them to have fun and build relationships. Crew Leaders can opt to be morning only (9am-12pm), afternoon only (12pm-5pm), or all-day (9am-5pm). Being a Crew Leader grants a free Mayhem registration ($100 value) for one of your children. If there are certain days you cannot do, that is okay! Just let Travis know.
• High School Crew Leader: This is a high school student who can assist a crew leader with leading a group Monday through Friday. If you cannot do all 5 days, please check with Travis first before signing up; students who can do all 5 days will be given preference. High School Crew Leaders can opt to be morning only (9am-12pm), afternoon only (12pm-5pm), or all-day (9am-5pm).
• Assistant Leader: This is someone who can commit to volunteering some days but not all of them. If you select this option, you will be asked to specify which days you can help (Monday through Friday) and what timeframes within those days (morning, afternoon, or all-day).
• Recreation Leader: An adult or high school student who wants to set up and lead games. This is a Monday through Friday commitment.
• Decoration: We need plenty of people to help set up spaces in the main building for Mayhem! Decorating will be on Sunday, June 16th from 1:00pm to 5pm. This task-based role is great if you want to help but can't commit to weekdays. If you are interested in designing and planning what the spaces will look like, please email Travis!

All camp volunteers must attend a mandatory training before Mayhem starts (date TBD).
