High School Belize Mission Trip

Saturday, July 8 12:00 PM

July 8-15, 2023, HS students at St. Luke's will have the opportunity to join us for an international mission trip to the Belize. We are excited to serve through Praying Pelicans Missions (PPM), a well-respected missions organization that has partnered with and developed relationships in this community for many years. Students will get to serve in a variety of ways including physical projects and relational ministry. The trip will be built with our group in mind. The evenings will involve services, opportunities to share what we've been learning, and fun adventures!

Belize is the only country in Central America where English is the official language spoken. It is a coastal country with the second longest barrier reef in the world. It has dense jungles, low mountains, and a rich variety of wildlife. Belize has a rich history, both ancient Mayan history and recently in their independence from Britain. Through the local church there, we will have the opportunity to serve those in need in various ways - physical projects, relational ministry, and everything in between. It will be a great cultural learning experience.

Signup is open now and closes March 1. Cost is $1600.  Register by January 15 and place a deposit to secure your spot!
