We’ve missed you – and we are excited to resume in-person worship again. Our top priority is providing the safest environment possible amid the pandemic. The following protocols are shaped by the guidance of our state and local leaders with one goal - to keep you and our community safe.

Our first service in-person service will be a 9:30AM traditional service in the Sanctuary followed by the 11AM contemporary service in the Chapel. We will continue to streaming all of our services online.

We need your help to keep everyone safe and allow for in-person worship to continue. It is imperative everyone follows these safety measures and failure to do so could require us to return to online-only worship.

In order to follow our seating capacity limitations, we will be requiring reservations for in-person services. We will be accepting reservations starting on March 14th (1 week prior to the reopening date.

What We're Doing

Limiting Capacity

Each service will be limited to 25% of full seating capacity, and we will require attendees to make a reservation for in-person services for at least the first few weeks.

Distanced Seating

We will block off the first two rows in each worship space, along with every other row. We have taped off each row at three-foot increments and ask that you leave 2 pieces of tape between you and the next family unit.

Controlled Entrances/Exits

We ask that you not congregate inside before or after a service. If you wish to come early or stay late to socialize, please do so outside. Common areas have floor stickers to remind you to keep safe social distancing. Before services, ushers will guide you to your seat. After each service, rows will be dismissed by the ushers to avoid crowding at the doors.

Wearing Masks

Masks will be required of all attendees and volunteers over the age of 2. Acceptable masks include cloth or disposable face coverings that completely cover the nose and mouth. A face shield alone is not sufficient and will require a mask be worn as well.

Our worship spaces are completely sanitized each week. Common touch areas, such as doorknobs and handles, will be wiped down between services. Hand sanitizer stations will be strategically placed inside and outside the church.

Limited Amenities

Refreshments (coffee and donuts) will not be offered inside the building. Food/beverages cannot be brought into the building as consuming them requires mask removal. Water fountains are closed. Restrooms will be available and will be sanitized between services and doors propped open where possible.

Contact-Free Greetings

Greeters will wave a warm welcome, but will not shake hands while serving. Exterior doors will be propped open. We will not offer a stand and greet time during our services. We will have one Welcome Center open for each service should people have questions or need assistance.

Touchless Service

We will not distribute bulletins or handouts, and all paper and hymnals have been removed from the worship spaces. Offering will be taken through electronic giving (text or via the website) or may be placed in wooden boxes near the main exit of the worship spaces. Attendance will be entered electronically from the reservation submitted.

Special Worship Elements

Communion will be distributed by gloved and masked ushers through pre-packaged elements. Baptisms will continue to be done individually at a family's request. Candle tables for prayer have been removed from our worship spaces. We have discontinued the practice of offering communion weekly in the Prayer Chapel.

Kids Church

Kids Church will reopen on March 21. Kids ages birth through Pre-K will be checked into their rooms upon arrival while kids ages K through 4th grade will check-in, go to "big church" with their parents/guardians for the first 10 minutes then staff and volunteers will come get them and take them to the Great Hall for activities, worship, and a lesson. Crafts will be available for children who are worshiping with their family.

Student Ministries

Student Ministries (5th through 12th grades) will continue their in-person programing to coincide with in-person worship services.

Adult Discipleship

All Adult Discipleship in-person Sunday morning classes and/or groups have been suspended at this time and will continue to meet online throughout the week.
