Hospitality Sunday
September is OPEN HOUSE month in the United Methodist Church, and while we believe every Sunday is Hospitality Sunday at St. Luke’s, we’re asking our members to make an extra effort to invite a friend, family member, neighbor or colleague—or maybe even a stranger!—to come to church on Sunday, September 7.
Our United Methodist Men will be cooking and serving a hot and hearty breakfast from 8:30AM-12:30PM in the Great Hall, free of charge (donations appreciated!). So bring a guest to experience the Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors of St. Luke’s UMC.
Family Ice Cream Social
September 8, 6:30PM, St. Luke’s Playground. Join us for ice cream and fellowship, a great opportunity to spend time with your family at church at the start of the school year and to meet other families at St. Luke’s. In case of the rain, the event will be held in the Parlor.
Family Camping Weekend
Camp Tecumseh, September 26-28. Registration: August 17, 24 and September 7, East Passage. St. Luke’s families of all ages are invited for an amazing weekend of fellowship, worship and fun at Camp Tecumseh on the Tippecanoe River. Hiking, a climbing wall, archery, hayrides and horseback riding are available during the day. Evenings will include special worship and bonfire experiences for the whole family. Invite friends and don’t miss this incredible faith opportunity for your whole family. For more info, contact Dawn and Sloan McCord at 466-0827.
