United Methodist Men
St. Luke’s United Methodist Men is a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek daily his will. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships.
We are a program-driven organization, meaning we do not have monthly ‘Membership’ meetings. Please read below for information regarding our current ongoing and upcoming programs and contact the man responsible for more information or to get involved. If nothing here appeals to you, I invite you to contact me and let’s turn your passion for a new program into a reality!
We send out a monthly e-newsletter with details about programs, news about SLUMM and opportunities for involvement. It’s our main tool for communication. To be added to our monthly e-newsletter, send your request to Doug Staley at fdstaley@comcast.net.
Thank you for visiting our page. I hope to see you soon!

Quiet Strength: Men's Bible Study
Based on the best-selling book by Super Bowl winning coach Tony Dungy. It's never been harder to be a man...or more confusing. That's because no one is quite sure how to do it. There's the stereotypical "Man's Man" who weathers storms alone as the strong and silent type. Or the "Sensitive Type" who's ready and willing to share his feelings. Discover how to
move past posturing and uncertainty. Connect with others inmore authentic ways. And find your answers to the six questions that men often deal with.... What's my game plan? What's my strength? What's success? Where's my security? What's my significance? What's my legacy? Six Monday evenings, October 6-November 10, 7-8:30PM in C122. Contact Mike Gentry at 506-7460, or mike.gentry@gmail.com for more information, including ordering materials ($10).
