Our Together In Ministry (T.I.M.E.) theme for Lent is "Spiritual Spring Training." Stay in shape during the week at the Midweek Lenten Worship services on Wednesdays now through March 31 at Noon in Robertson Chapel. Increasing numbers of Hoosier families are going hungry due to job losses or reductions in income. To provide emergency food assistance, St. Luke's United Methodist Women are sponsoring four local food pantries through the semi-annual Food Drive. Collections bins are located in the East and West Passages of the church during the entire month of March.

On Sunday, April 25, St. Luke’s will welcome Reverend William G. Enright, Ph.D. to the pulpit during all three morning services to deliver an inspiring message to our congregation. Dr. Enright is the Executive Director of the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, and former Senior Pastor of Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. St. Luke’s Endowment was founded over 20 years ago by members who had the vision and passion for securing our church’s future for generations to come. If you would like to learn more about the St. Luke’s Endowment and how you can use your faith to create a legacy, stop by the Endowment tables in the East and West Passages on April 25 to pick up some materials and speak with a committee member.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will speak at Conseco Fieldhouse on Friday, May 14. Tickets are $25/person or $15/student and may be purchased in person at the Conseco Fieldhouse box office, or online through Ticketmaster (additional charges will apply to Ticketmaster purchases). The program will be hosted by the Interfaith Hunger Initiative (IHI), the Indiana Buddhist Center (IBC) and the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center (TMBCC) in Bloomington. Proceeds will benefit IHI and TMBCC.
