Caring Ministries

Member Care ministries of St. Luke's provides visitation, care and support for our members. To reach any of our care ministries, please contact Mary Katherine Schnitz, Director of Member Care.

Care Committee

This group of St. Luke's members and staff visit nursing homes and shut-ins on a regular basis. If you know of someone in a health care center who would like to receive a visit, fill out the care request form.

Support Groups

Several types of support groups exist at St. Luke's to provide loving care, fellowship and advice for those in need. Find the group you're looking for under support groups or grief ministries.

St. Lukes's Needlecrafters

This group knits or crochets clothing and household items for people in need. Past recipients include Fletcher Place Christmas shopping program, the People's Burn Center, Knit for Kids, etc. New members always welcome. For info, contact Edie Huffman, 228-0496 or johnediehuffman@hotmail.com.

St. Luke’s 101

Six Wednesdays beginning September 22, 6:30-8:30PM
Attention members new and old! Join St. Luke's staff, clergy and lay leaders for an exciting new opportunity. Meet new people, learn about some great programs, explore St. Luke's history and more.
